Parvati Kalyanam : Sonnet - 7
Delight of King Himavat, knew no bounds,
cheer spread throughout, with great merriment;
Mountain ranges lit up, and played music bands,
Parvati, sparkled like a jewel, for the blessed moment.
Lord Shiv arrived, with a grand following,
simplicity of ascetics, failed, to suit the occasion;
Mainavati made, an incongruent, lengthy ranting,
Parvati pleaded to Shiv, to mend the situation.
Lord Shiv transformed, to meet the compliance,
guests were delighted to see, the charming Supernatural;
Lord Vishnu stood by, to bless the conformance,
Shiv Parvati wedded, by Vedic hymns and rituals.
Shiv Parvati forged, the entire existence,
encompassing time and space, as Nature’s confluence.
